I am supposed to be big on water. But here in Arizona, with as much of the stuff as we have to drink, it gets so boring! Juice has too much sugar, sodas simply aren't a healthy option for a primary beverage, and I just don't want to drink too much coffee.
So last week when I was shopping and I saw this new product display, I thought it would be worth trying. Each serving has only 10 calories. The ingredients are maltodextrin, pure powdered Japanese Sencha green tea, and natural blueberry flavor. It was wonderful! It's packaged so that you can pour one envelope into the average water bottle. So you can pack the envelope and get the water elsewhere. So much better than having to carry a thermos. The cost is about $.25 per serving.
Green tea is a great antioxidant, and it helps to increase circulation to the brain. That helps carry away toxic metabolic by-products that would sit around and do damage if they just sat there.
I found in it Phoenix at Sprouts Farmer's Market, but apparently you can order it online. For more information, click here.
