One of my Facebook friends posted this and I thought it was poignant. So many of you seem to have a mentality that you just have to"be good" until you get pregnant, and then you can go back to doing what you want from then on. It doesn't seem to resonate that the same reasons you can't conceive are the very ones that put you at risk for high risk pregnancy, premature birth, breastfeeding problems, and postpartum depression.
Here's a little picture that explains probably the most important reason why it's not just about you anymore. From the moment you conceive, you are leaving your legacy with someone else who is completely dependent on your choices?
